
Pandit Shree Sadasukhdasji Kasaliwal
Among the scholars of the 19th century, Pandit Sadasukhdas Kasaliwal holds a significant place. According to his self-introduction in the Artha Prakāśikā Vachanika, he was born in Vikram Samvat 1852 (1795 CE) in Jaipur. His father’s name was Dulichand, and he belonged to the Kasaliwal gotra and the Dedraj lineage.
Pandit Sadasukhdas Ji was deeply studious, spiritually inclined, virtuous, self-reliant, and possessed a powerful personality. He was content by nature and spent most of his time in study and contemplation, engaging in minimal work for livelihood. His guru was Pandit Pannalal Ji, and his grand-guru was Pandit Jaychandji Chhabara.

- Pandit Parasnath Nigotya
He had one son, Ganeshilal, who was talented and scholarly like his father. Unfortunately, Ganeshilal passed away at the age of 20, which deeply affected Pandit Ji. Later, Seth Moolchand Ji Soni of Ajmer invited him to relocate from Jaipur to Ajmer.
Pandit Sadasukhdas Ji attained samādhi-maraṇa (spiritual death) in Vikram Samvat 1923 (1866 CE).
